How these guides are made.

BizAI’s business idea library helps a first-time founder evaluate a small, concrete offer. It is a starting point for research and experiments, not evidence that a business will succeed.

What is researched

The guides use public references from organizations such as SBA, FTC, OSHA, FDA, NIST, Google, Penn State Extension and the International Coaching Federation. Citations sit beside the specific factual checks they support. Rules, platform policies and operating requirements can change; follow the linked source and confirm the requirements for your own activity and location.

Search results and practitioner discussions helped identify recurring questions about equipment, quoting, first customers, ongoing support and distribution. They were not treated as representative surveys or proof of income. The collection is oriented toward English-speaking US readers; it is not a jurisdiction-specific legal or tax guide.

What is an original planning scenario

Every startup-cost table is an illustrative allocation created for the limited pilot described on that page. These are not supplier quotes, market averages, appraisals, minimum legal launch budgets or complete funding recommendations. Existing equipment and skills are identified as assumptions, and major exclusions are stated. Local permits, insurance, facilities and transport can materially change the total.

Prices, direct costs, working hours, monthly fixed costs and sales volumes are editable assumptions. Contribution is price less direct cost. Monthly operating result subtracts fixed costs from total contribution. The calculations exclude owner pay, tax, financing and startup recovery unless you explicitly add them to the inputs. A favorable scenario does not establish demand or customer willingness to pay.

How AI is used

AI assisted with research organization, drafting and development. The published collection contains individually specified offers, constraints, first-customer tests and reference checks. No human expert interview, field test, credentialed review or measured customer result is claimed. These are BizAI-authored planning guides, not independently verified business case studies.

AI can produce incorrect information. NIST’s generative-AI profile discusses risks including false outputs. Readers should validate important assumptions against primary sources, actual quotes and their own experiments.

What makes a guide useful

A guide must identify a customer, define the first offer, show the budget assumptions, explain the delivery constraint and suggest a small test. Related models remain separate only when their buyer, deliverable or operating process differs. For example, prospect research is not the same as selling an inbound enquiry, and a public chatbot differs from an internal assistant with restricted documents.

We do not treat page count as evidence of quality. Google’s guidance on generative-AI content emphasizes value, accuracy and relevance. The purpose of each page is to answer a founder’s question and help them choose an experiment.

How to use an AI business coach

An AI coach can help frame a decision, challenge an assumption and suggest a next action. It should clearly identify itself and explain how information is used. The ICF AI coaching framework covers matters such as ethics, agreements, privacy and testing. A planning tool is not proof of professional credentials or a substitute for qualified help where required.

Do not rely on promised earnings when evaluating a coaching offer. The FTC’s coaching-scam guidance describes guaranteed-income claims as a warning sign.

Publication and corrections

This edition was published September 8, 2026. Dates reflect an actual content edition; they are not automatically changed on each visit. References are provided so readers can inspect the underlying evidence. If a page contains an error, pause reliance on that point and use the primary source while the content is corrected.

Use the site’s feedback channel when one becomes available; this edition does not claim a staffed editorial support desk. Private generated plans and community-published blueprints are separate from this static research collection.
